No Disruption to PATH Schedule during Maintenance
NEWARK, NJ - The Port Authority will continue running PATH services to 33rd Street during maintenance period next month. Port Authority officials said that the repairs were necessary, but no PATH shutdown is expected. Some delays in schedule are expected, but "nothing out of the ordinary", as one official described it. Last summer, PATH services were shutdown for several months and commuters were provided with an alternative shuttle bus running round trips from World Trade Center to 33rd Street. The service was fully resumed in late December, before Christmas.
